Why choose us

The difference is what we refuse to do

Plenty of places will take your money. Fewer will read your ECU before writing to it, test a circuit before condemning a part, or tell you that the job you have asked for is the wrong job for your car.

An honest comparison

Us against the alternatives

There are good main dealers and there are good mobile tuners. This is not a claim that everyone else is bad, it is a description of where an independent specialist workshop genuinely differs.

What you get

Six commitments, on every job

These apply whether you are spending sixty-five pounds on a diagnostic session or fifteen hundred on a full build.

A fixed price, quoted against your registration

Not a headline figure with extras discovered on the ramp. We quote on your actual vehicle, and if something changes during the work we stop and ring you before spending another penny of your money.

Twelve months on our labour

Across every service, without small print about mileage or usage. Hardware carries its own manufacturer warranty on top, typically two years on Ghost units. If something we fitted is not right, bring it back.

Your original data, kept

Every ECU and TCU file is archived before it is touched, and kept indefinitely. Reverting a vehicle to standard is always available to you, and there is no charge for us to hold the file.

Written evidence, not opinions

Diagnostic sessions end with a report listing codes, tests, evidence and conclusions. Remaps come with a specification sheet for your insurer. You leave with paper, not just a verbal summary.

We will tell you not to bother

If a job will not deliver what you are hoping for on your specific vehicle, you will hear that before you book. We have turned down Stage 2 bookings, DPF removals and lighting jobs that would not have passed an MOT.

One vehicle at a time

We deliberately book fewer jobs per day than the bay could physically hold, because splitting a technician across four cars is how mistakes get made and how handover conversations get rushed.

Organised tool wall and calibration equipment inside the Bradford workshop
The equipment is the reason we can test rather than guess.

Behind the work

Equipment you cannot fit in a van

A great deal of what separates a diagnosis from a guess is simply having the right tool in front of you and the space to use it properly. That is the honest advantage a fixed workshop has over a mobile service, and it is why we chose to stay in a unit rather than work out of a van.

  • Dealer-level diagnostic platforms for the marques we specialise in
  • Four-channel automotive oscilloscope and current clamps
  • Bench and OBD ECU and TCU programming equipment
  • On-car DPF cleaning and forced regeneration equipment
  • Headlight alignment board for MOT-standard beam setting
  • Controlled bench area for opening and re-sealing headlight units

Still deciding?

Read what customers actually said afterwards, or look through the detail of recent jobs. Both are more useful than anything we could write about ourselves.

Try us

Start with something small if you would rather

A sixty-five pound diagnostic session is a low-risk way to find out how we work. Plenty of our long-standing customers started exactly there.
